Last month the JTBA traveled for the 1st time in our history to Parkersburg, West Virginia to Emerson Lanes. We would like to thank John Fazio and his staff for providing a great tournament atmosphere for our players who made the drive south. We would also like to thank the West Virginia sponsors of this event. Bringing home the hardware and a nice scholarship were two JTBA veterans, Joy Arrigo of Westerville, Ohio on the girls side and also of Westerville Mark Mantle for the gentlemen. Arrigo defeated Pikeville College star Sarah Germano of Rochester, NY 234-186. Sarah was the leading qualifier at +90. High game for the girls was bowled by Kristen Keenen of Centerville, Ohio a fine 258.

Mantle, also a Pikeville College standout defeated JTBA newcomer J.R. Martino of Pgh, Pa 220-179 to claim his second title of 2009.High qualifier was none other than Mark Mantle at a stellar +164. High game on the guys side was 277 by Dean Reynolds of Fairborn, Ohio. Dean and Mark teamed up for a super exciting semi-final Mark striking out in the 10th for a 225-221 victory.
